Some Evening Isolated To Scattered Thunderstorms Are Possible Across Mostly Western Mass

Leftover showers will be coming to an end over the next hour or so across Central Mass while Western Mass may see some breaks of sunshine by midday.

Turning to this afternoon and this evening - All-in-all, conditions should dry out with mostly cloudy skies expected across Central Mass and a mixture of sunshine and clouds anticipated across Western Mass.

It will humid with temperatures ranging from 71 to 76 Degrees across Central Mass to around 80 Degrees across Western Mass. Dew point temperatures this afternoon will be between 65 and 70 Degrees.

There is the possibility for some isolated to perhaps scattered thunderstorms to move into the Berkshires by very late this afternoon and this evening.

How far east these thunderstorms move are uncertain, but given that the air mass should be most unstable across Western Mass with a little more of a stable air mass over Central Mass, I do think that any isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be able to make it to the Pioneer Valley during this evening and then weaken and dissipate as they push out of the Pioneer Valley and into the western Worcester Hills.

This means that most, if not all, of Central Mass should stay dry throughout this afternoon and tonight & any thunderstorms should be mostly a concern for Western Mass.

Any thunderstorms across Western Mass this evening will be capable of producing heavy downpours and some lightning. Strong or severe thunderstorms are not expected.
