After an absolutely wild night in terms of very strong winds & heavy rain, the rest of this week looks quiet across the entire area. Last night’s very strong winds led to a 56 mph wind gust being recorded here at my home in Sturbridge. A 61 mph wind gust was recorded at Worcester Airport. For Tonight: Clear skies are expected throughout tonight. Low temperatures will be near 15 Degrees. Winds will be West at 10 to 20 mph.

Wednesday: An area of high pressure is expected to control the weather throughout Wednesday.

This means that partly sunny skies can be expected throughout the day Wednesday. High temperatures will be between 35 and 40 Degrees. Winds will be West to Northwest at 10 to 15 mph in the morning and South to Southwest at 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.

Thursday Through Friday: That high pressure system will continue to control the weather during Thursday and Friday.

Thursday will be partly sunny with high temperatures between 40 and 45 Degrees. Winds will be South at 10 to 15 mph.

Friday looks partly sunny with high temperatures between 50 and 55 Degrees.

This Weekend: A weak low pressure system looks to cross the area during Saturday morning. This means that some rain shower activity can be expected during Saturday morning with skies remaining cloudy during Saturday afternoon. High temperatures will be near 50 Degrees.

Another low pressure system is expected to track across the area during Sunday afternoon and Sunday night. This means that widespread rain showers look possible during Sunday afternoon and Sunday night. High temperatures will be near 55 Degrees.
