Scattered Thunderstorms Expected During The Mid & Late Afternoon Hours

Thunderstorms now developing across eastern New York State will push their way into Western Mass by about mid-afternoon. Additional thunderstorms will then develop across mainly Western Mass and across the northern Worcester Hills throughout the mid and late afternoon hours. That said, a couple of thunderstorms could make their way into other parts of Central Mass during the second half of this afternoon.

A few of the thunderstorms during the mid and late afternoon could on the strong side with wind gusts of 40-60 mph, frequent lightning and torrential downpours.
