Quiet Weather Is Expected Through Christmas Across Western & Central Mass

For This Afternoon: Lots of sunshine is expected this afternoon with temperatures between 35 and 40 Degrees. Winds will be Northwest at 10 to 20 mph.

Tonight: An area of high pressure will control the weather throughout tonight with clear to partly cloudy skies expected. Low temperatures will be between 25 and 30 Degrees. Winds will be Northwest at 10 to 20 mph.

Thursday: A sunny and cold day is expected with high temperatures near 35 Degrees. Winds will be Northwest at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph. Wind chill temperatures on Thursday will be in the low 20s making it a chilly day for sure.

Friday Through Christmas Day: A big high pressure system will remain in control of the weather from Friday right through not only the weekend but through Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. This means that quiet weather can be expected.

Friday will be sunny with high temperatures near 35 Degrees. Winds will be Northwest at 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday looks partly sunny with high temperatures near 40 Degrees.

Turning to Christmas Eve, a weak weather disturbance looks to pass through the area. This means that skies will be cloudy and there may be some isolated rain showers around. High temperatures will be between 40 and 45 Degrees.

Christmas Day looks partly sunny with high temperatures near 45 Degrees.
