Hot & Humid Weather Is Expected To Continue Through This Weekend Into Early Next Week

For The Rest Of This Afternoon: Hot and humid weather is expected the rest of this afternoon under a mixture of sunshine and clouds. In addition, some very isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible, especially from late afternoon to about sunset. Most areas, however, will stay dry. Any thunderstorms will be non-severe with the main threat being locally heavy downpours and lightning. Temperatures will be around 90 Degrees with heat index readings of 95 to 100 Degrees. Winds will be Northwest at 5 to 10 mph. Tonight & Saturday: Any thunderstorms will dissipate quickly just after sunset with a mixture of lots of clouds and some stars during the overnight hours. Low temperatures will be between 70 and 75 Degrees with oppressive amounts of humidity. Winds will be Southwest at 5 to 10 mph. Another hot and humid day is expected on Saturday under partly sunny skies. Some isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected during the afternoon. Severe weather is not expected with any thunderstorms posing a threat of heavy downpours and lightning. High temperatures will be between 85 and 90 Degrees with heat index readings of 95 to 100 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 20 mph. Sunday & Monday: Hot and humid will continue throughout Sunday and Monday. Sunday is expected to be sunny to partly sunny with high temperatures between 90 and 95 Degrees with heat index readings of around 100 Degrees. Some isolated late afternoon showers and thunderstorms are possible. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 20 mph. Monday looks partly sunny with hot and humid conditions. In addition, some scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected during the afternoon and evening as a frontal boundary slowly moves into our area. High temperatures will be near 90 Degrees with heat index readings of 95 to 100 Degrees. Tuesday Through Next Friday: That frontal boundary is expected to gradually push through the area during Tuesday through Wednesday before pushing offshore by Thursday. This slow movement of the front combined with a very tropical air mass could lead to some beneficial rainfall for some areas of Western and Central Mass. Tuesday looks cloudy and there may be at least scattered, if not widespread showers and possible thunderstorms, especially during the afternoon and at night. High temperatures will be near 80 Degrees. Wednesday also looks cloudy with widespread showers and possible thunderstorms. High temperatures will be between 75 and 80 Degrees. Thursday is expected to be partly sunny with high temperatures between 80 and 85 Degrees. Next Friday looks partly sunny with high temperatures between 80 and 85 Degrees.
