A Rainy Sunday Afternoon & Sunday Night Is Expected Across Western & Central Mass
A rainy Sunday afternoon and Sunday night is still expected across all of Western & Central Mass as a storm system crosses the region.
Before that though, expect plenty of sunshine throughout this afternoon with temperatures around 65 Degrees. Winds will be Easterly at 5 to 10 mph.
Skies are expected to start out clear this evening, but will become cloudy during the after midnight hours of tonight. Low temperatures will be around 45 Degrees. Winds will be South to Southwest at 5 to 10 mph.
Turning to Sunday, I expect that rain will begin across Western Mass between 10 am and noon. The rain is then expected to begin across Central Mass between about 11 am and 1 pm.
Once the rain begins, it is expected to continue throughout all of Sunday afternoon and through all of Sunday night. In addition, the rain may be moderate to heavy at times during Sunday afternoon and Sunday evening.
The rain is expected to come to an end towards dawn on Monday morning & this will lead to a generally cloudy day on Monday. That said, there could be some breaks of sunshine at times during the day on Monday.
All-in-all, rainfall totals during Sunday afternoon and Sunday night will average between one-half of an inch (0.50") and one inch (1.00").
High temperatures Sunday will be in the upper 50s to low 60s. Winds will be East to Southeast at around 10 mph.
Low temperatures Sunday night will be around 50 Degrees. Winds will be North at 7 to 15 mph.
High temperatures Monday will be between 60 and 65 Degrees. Winds will be North at 10 to 15 mph.
