Showers Are Expected Late This Afternoon & This Evening & Then A Rainy Sunday Is Expected Across Western & Central Mass

For The Rest Of This Afternoon & Tonight: A frontal system is expected to cross the region by tonight. Showers are expected to accompany the front as it pushes through the area.


Cloudy skies are expected throughout the rest of this afternoon. In addition, a few showers look to overspread the area by late afternoon. Temperatures will be in the middle 70s. Dew point temperatures will be in the upper 60s. Winds will be Southwest at around 10 mph.


Quite a bit in the way of shower activity can be expected throughout this evening as that front pushes through. The shower activity is expected to quickly come to an end during the after midnight hours of tonight. Low temperatures will be around 60 Degrees. Winds will be West to Northwest at around 10 mph.


Friday: An area of high pressure is expected to build into the region during Friday leading to a nice day across the entire area.


Sunny to partly sunny skies can be expected throughout the day on Friday. High temperatures will be around 75 Degrees. Dew point temperatures will fall from the upper 50s during the morning into the upper 40s to low 50s during the afternoon. Winds will be Northwest at 10 to 15 mph.


Saturday: That high pressure system is expected to continue to control our weather throughout Saturday.


Lots of sunshine is expected on Saturday and it will feel very much like Fall. High temperatures will be near 65 Degrees. Dew point temperatures will be in the upper 30s to near 40 Degrees. Winds will be North at 5 to 10 mph.


Sunday: An area of low pressure is expected to move across Southern New England during Sunday afternoon and Sunday night. It appears that this low pressure system will bring with it a round of rain to the entire area throughout Sunday afternoon and Sunday night.


Cloudy skies are expected throughout the day on Sunday. In addition, rain can be expected during Sunday afternoon with the rain continuing through Sunday night. Current indications seem to point towards around one inch of total rainfall occurring during Sunday afternoon and Sunday night.


High temperatures Sunday will be around 60 Degrees.
