For The Rest Of This Afternoon: An area of high pressure will continue to control the weather throughout the rest of this afternoon.
Sunshine will be filtered through high clouds throughout the rest of this afternoon. Temperatures will be between 65 and 70 Degrees. Winds will be South to Southeast at 10 to 15 mph.
Tonight: Clear to partly cloudy skies can be expected throughout tonight. In addition, some patchy fog is possible late tonight in some spots. Low temperatures will be between 43 and 48 Degrees. Winds will be West to Southwest at 5 to 10 mph.
Monday: Some slightly warmer temperatures can be expected on Monday under partly sunny skies. High temperatures will be between 70 and 75 Degrees. Winds will be South to Southwest at 6 to 12 mph.
Tuesday: That high pressure system will be located to our east during Tuesday allowing a southwesterly wind flow to be in place across the region. At the same time this is occurring, it is expected that a frontal system will move to the east from the Great Lakes region.
Skies during Tuesday are expected to be cloudy & it does appear that much of the day will be dry. That said, there is the possibility of some late day isolated showers.
High temperatures will be between 75 and 80 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 20 mph.
Tuesday Night: That frontal system is expected to push into the region during Tuesday night & it appears that a wave of low pressure will ride along the front across our area during the late night hours.
This all means that there will be scattered showers during the evening with widespread showers expected during the after midnight hours. Low temperatures will be between 55 and 60 Degrees.
Wednesday: That frontal system will gradually move to the east during Wednesday, however, it may be close enough to bring us inclement weather throughout the day.
Skies on Wednesday will be cloudy and it appears that scattered showers will continue throughout the day. High temperatures will be near 70 Degrees.
Thursday & Friday: There are signals in the data that suggests the weather will remain unsettled throughout Thursday and maybe even into Friday.
Thursday looks cloudy and there may be some scattered showers around throughout the day. That said, some of the weather guidance suggests a low pressure system will move across the area & if this happens, it would lead to a steady rain during Thursday instead. High temperatures Thursday will be near 65 Degrees.
Friday’s weather is going to hinge on how quick any possible low pressure system moves through the area. Some of the weather forecast guidance suggests that this could be a slow moving system & if this happens, it would mean the steady rain would continue through the day on Friday.
For now, I’m going to go with cloudy skies throughout Friday along with some scattered showers. High temperatures will be near 65 Degrees,
