After A Nice Day Thursday, Scattered Thunderstorms Return For Friday Afternoon & Evening

For Tonight: Clear to partly cloudy skies are expected tonight with low temperatures near 65 Degrees. Winds will be Northwest at 5 to 10 mph. Thursday: A sunny day is expected on Thursday with high temperatures between 85 and 90 Degrees and somewhat tolerable amounts of humidity compared to what we’ve seen already this summer (dew point temperatures will be in the low to mid 60s). Winds will be Northwest at 5 to 10 mph. Thursday Night: The high pressure system that’s going to give us the sunshine on Thursday will push to the east leading to a southwesterly wind flow to set up across the region. This means that skies on Thursday night will be partly cloudy with humid conditions. Low temperatures will be near 65 Degrees. Friday: A frontal boundary is expected to gradually push through the area during Friday afternoon and evening. This front will bring the threat for scattered thunderstorm activity across the entire area from about mid-afternoon through the evening hours. The main threat from any thunderstorms will be heavy downpours and frequent lightning. That said, there’s the possibility that there could be a couple of stronger thunderstorms that could produce wind gusts of 40-60 mph. It will be humid on Friday with high temperatures between 85 and 90 Degrees and dew point temperatures between 65 and 70 Degrees. Winds will be South at 10 to 20 mph. This Weekend: High pressure builds back into the area for this weekend. This means that lots of sunshine can be expected on Saturday and Sunday. High temperatures both days will be between 80 and 85 Degrees along with somewhat humid conditions (dew point temperatures will be in the mid 60s).
