For This Afternoon: Even things will be drier as compared to the last few days, I do think that we’ll probably see a few showers during this afternoon into early this evening. The coverage of showers this afternoon will be less as compared to what we had yesterday. Also, I do think that there will be partly sunny skies in-between the few showers that do occur.
Temperatures will be between 70 and 75 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 15 mph.
Tonight: Any leftover showers will come to an end by about 8-9 pm this evening.
The rest of tonight is expected to be partly cloudy with areas of fog developing during the after midnight hours. Low temperatures will be near 50 Degrees. Winds will be West at 6 to 12 mph.
Thursday: Much of the day on Thursday is expected to feature a mixture of sunshine and clouds.
It looks as if there will be a round of showers and thunderstorms during the late afternoon and evening hours. Time frame currently looks to be from about 4-5 pm to about midnight. Some of the thunderstorms might be on the strong side with gusty winds of up to 45 mph, pea size hail and torrential downpours. This is something that will be watched closely and I’ll have updates as needed.
High temperatures will be near 70 Degrees. Winds will be Northwest at 5 to 10 mph.
Friday Through Saturday: Another round of rain, which could lead to rivers and streams to go into minor flood stage, is expected throughout all of Friday and Friday night. This rain will then continue through Saturday morning before ending.
Rainfall amounts from Friday through Friday night and Saturday morning is expected to average between one (1.00”) and one and one half inches (1.50”) across Central Mass and between one and one half inches (1.50”) and two inches (2.00”). These amounts of rain will be more than enough to lead to ponding of water on streets, highways and underpasses, urban flood issues and the potential for minor flooding of the rivers and streams across the region.
High temperatures Friday will be near 55 Degrees. Low temperatures Friday night will be between 40 and 45 Degrees. High temperatures Saturday will be near 65 Degrees.
Sunday: It looks as if Sunday will be a nice day in terms of weather with lots of sunshine expected. High temperatures will be between 70 and 75 Degrees.
