Tonight: Skies will start out clear this evening, but clouds will be on the increase during the after midnight hours. Low temperatures will be between 50 and 55 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at around 10 mph.
Saturday looks to be a cloudy day, but at this point, it looks dry with any showers holding off until evening. High temperatures will be near 75 Degrees with increasing humidity values during the afternoon. Winds will be South to Southwest at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph.
On and off showers are expected during Saturday Night. It will be humid with low temperatures will be between 65 and 70 Degrees. Winds will be South to Southwest at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph.
Turning to Sunday, I do think that we will need to keep an eye on the thunderstorm potential during the afternoon as a cold front pushes across the area. It will be warm and quite humid throughout the day on Sunday. The combination of forcing from the front and an unstable air mass could lead to the possibility of a few strong to severe thunderstorms during the afternoon.
Thunderstorms look to push across the area during the mid and late afternoon hours of Sunday before moving to the east by Sunday evening. As I said, a few of the storms could be on the strong to perhaps severe side with wind gusts of up to 45-60 mph, torrential downpours and frequent lightning.
While the tornado threat looks low, it is not a zero threat either - meaning, I do want to keep an eye on the tornado threat, but at this point I'm not overly concerned.
High temperatures Sunday will be between 80 and 85 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph, becoming West late in the day.
