4:30 pm Update - Flash Flooding Likely In The Worcester Metro Over The Next Two Hours

Areas including Fitchburg, Leominster, Princeton, Holden, Worcester, Shrewsbury, Grafton, Auburn, Oxford, Webster and Uxbridge is about to get in on some EXTREMELY heavy rain.

A line of extremely heavy showers with thunderstorms will be affecting this entire corridor beginning during the 4:30-5 pm time frame and continuing until about 5:30-6 pm or so.

Visibility with this heavy rain is near zero and flash flooding of streets and highways is occurring with these heavy showers/storms. This means I strongly urge you not to drive while this line of showers/storms move through.

I also think that flash flooding of creeks, streams, urban areas, streets, highways and underpasses is highly expected across much of the Fitchburg, Leominster, Princeton, Holden, Worcester, Shrewsbury, Grafton, Auburn, Oxford, Webster and Uxbridge areas will occur between 4:30-5 pm and 5:30-6 pm.
