For Tonight: An easterly wind flow is expected to be in place across the region tonight. This means that low clouds with areas of drizzle and fog can be expected throughout tonight. In addition, there’s likely to be some very isolated showers around, especially after midnight tonight. Low temperatures will be between 45 and 50 Degrees. Winds will be East at 5 to 10 mph. Monday: Low clouds with areas of fog and drizzle is likely throughout the day on Monday due to a persistent easterly wind flow. In addition to this, there’s likely to be some fairly widespread showers around throughout the morning right into the first half of the afternoon as a frontal boundary pushes eastward across the region. Current indications are that this frontal boundary will cross Western Mass around midday and then cross Central Mass during the early and mid-afternoon hours. High temperatures will be near 55 Degrees. Winds will be East at 8 to 16 mph. Tuesday: That frontal boundary will be slow to push offshore during Tuesday. At the same time, there’s likely to be an upper level low pressure system that will be centered over central Quebec province. I do think that the upper level low pressure system should introduce enough cold air aloft to produce instability across the region during Tuesday. This means that there will be a mixture of some sunshine and lots of clouds during the day on Tuesday. In addition, there will be some scattered showers around during the afternoon. Given the cold air aloft, some of the heavier showers could produce some very small hail. High temperatures will be between 53 and 58 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 20 mph. Wednesday: That upper level low pressure system over Quebec province will gradually lift out of the area during Wednesday. There’s likely to be enough instability from that weather feature to produce another day with a mixture of some sunshine and lots of clouds. High temperatures will be near 55 Degrees. Winds will be West at 10 to 20 mph. Thursday & Friday: An area of high pressure will try to build into the area for late this coming week. This means that Thursday will be partly sunny with high temperatures near 65 Degrees. Friday looks partly sunny with high temperatures between 65 and 70 Degrees. Next Weekend: It looks like a fairly robust frontal system will push through the region Saturday afternoon or Saturday night. Saturday looks cloudy with showers expected during the afternoon. The showers then look to continue through Saturday night and Sunday morning. The shower activity looks to come to an end during Sunday afternoon. High temperatures Saturday will be near 60 Degrees. High temperatures next Sunday will be near 60 Degrees.

For Tonight: Clear to partly cloudy skies are expected tonight with low temperatures between 35 and 40 Degrees. Winds will be West at 5 to 10 mph. Extremely High Fire Danger Expected Tuesday: I have a significant concern of the threat for brush fires that’ll be able to not only start easily, but also to be able to spread rapidly. The reason for this is due to the combination of very low relative humidity levels, very gusty west winds and very dry ground conditions. Skies on Tuesday will be sunny to partly sunny with high temperatures between 70 and 75 Degrees. Winds will be West at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30-35 mph. Extremely High Fire Danger Expected Once Again On Wednesday: Extremely high fire danger is expected once again during Wednesday as the combination of very low relative humidity levels, gusty northwest winds and very dry ground conditions will lead to both the easy ignition of brush fires and the rapid spread of brush fires. Skies on Wednesday will be partly sunny with high temperatures between 70 and 75 Degrees. Winds will be Northwest at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30-35 mph. Thursday Through Friday: A big high pressure system will remain in place over the region for Thursday through Friday. This will lead to not only a continuation of lots of sunshine, but also the introduction of some very warm temperatures. Thursday looks sunny to partly sunny with high temperatures near 80 Degrees. Friday is expected to also be sunny to partly sunny with high temperatures approaching 85 Degrees. I also think that the fire danger on Friday could be extremely high once again due to the possibility of low humidity and gusty winds.

For Tonight: A frontal system will push through the region this evening leading to some scattered showers to occur. That front will push offshore by midnight with cloudy skies expected to persist after midnight tonight. Low temperatures will be between 40 and 45 Degrees. Winds will be Northwest at 10 to 20 mph. Friday: A partly sunny and windy day is expected on Friday with high temperatures near 55 Degrees. Winds will be Northwest at 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph. The combination of windy conditions, low relative humidity levels, sunshine and very dry conditions will lead to a very high danger for wildfires and brush fires, especially between 11 am and 7 pm Friday. Weekend Weather: Lots of sunshine can be expected for both Saturday and Sunday. High temperatures Saturday will be between 45 and 50 Degrees. High temperatures Sunday will be between 50 and 55 Degrees. Next Week’s Weather: Quiet and dry weather looks likely throughout next week with no rainfall anticipated. While this is going to be great for outdoor activities, the dry weather will also contribute to an increasing real threat for wildfires and brush fires. Monday looks sunny with high temperatures between 60 and 65 Degrees. Tuesday is expected to be partly sunny and windy with a high fire danger threat. High temperatures will be between 65 and 70 Degrees. Wednesday and Thursday both look sunny and windy with a very high danger for wildfires and brush fires. High temperatures Wednesday will be near 75 Degrees. High temperatures Thursday may approach 80 Degrees.
