A line of thunderstorms containing heavy downpours and pretty frequent lightning is currently pushing its way through the Berkshires at the time of this post.

It is expected that these thunderstorms will affect the middle and parts of the upper Pioneer Valley of Western Mass by 2 am and then the lower Pioneer Valley, including the Springfield Metro by about 2:30 am. Expect heavy downpours and frequent lightning when they move through.

These thunderstorms will then make their way into far western and southwestern Worcester County by around 3-3:15 am. These thunderstorms will then push their way across central and southern parts of Worcester County from 3 to 4 am. Areas across central and southern Worcester County will receive heavy downpours and frequent lightning when these thunderstorms move through.
