For This Afternoon: Lots of sunshine can be expected throughout this afternoon. Temperatures will be between 60 and 65 Degrees. Winds will be Northwest at 15 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph.

Tonight: Clear skies can be expected throughout tonight. Low temperatures will be between 30 and 35 Degrees. Winds will be Northwest at around 10 mph.

Friday: A large high pressure system will control the weather throughout Friday.

Sunny to partly sunny skies are expected throughout the day on Friday. High temperatures will be between 55 and 60 Degrees. Winds will be North to Northwest at around 10 mph.

This Weekend: An upper level low pressure system over the upper Midwestern US will push a shield of rain showers southeastward into parts of New York State and far southwestern New England during Saturday afternoon and Saturday night. Right now, it appears that these rain showers will stay too far west of our area to affect us here across Western and Central Mass.

Saturday is expected to start out sunny to partly sunny, but there will be more clouds than sunshine during the afternoon. High temperatures will be around 55 Degrees. Winds will be East at 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday night looks cloudy with low temperatures near 35 Degrees.

Sunday is expected to start out cloudy during the morning with partly sunny skies expected during the afternoon. High temperatures will be near 60 Degrees.

Weather Outlook For Next Week: Those you looking for any sort of warm weather anytime soon are going to be disappointed. The weather pattern over the next couple of weeks or so looks to feature below average temperatures as a persistent upper level trough sits over the northeastern United States.

For next week, this means that daytime high temperatures should generally be in the middle 50s to near 60 Degrees and nighttime low temperatures will be in the middle 30s to around 40 Degrees. In addition, showers will probably occur from Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday. Another round of rain is a possibility from next Friday through next Saturday.

Unfortunately, it may not be until late May or even early June until we snap this below average temperature weather pattern & then we might see summer make an appearance. I also think that we are NOT done with seeing frosts, freezes or even snowflakes from time to time across the area. The threat for frosts, freezes or snowflakes may not be completely done for this season until late May!!
