The Idea Of Route 20 Weather Was Thought Of Four Years Ago Today!!

I want to start by thanking each and every one of you for using Route 20 Weather over the past four years. I have been overwhelmed and truly humbled that you put your full trust into my forecasts for Western and Central Mass.

Four years ago today, August 4, 2018 (which is my birthday), my wonderful wife, Meg, came up with the idea of me putting together a website/Facebook page where I forecast the weather for Western and Central Mass. This was in immediate response to a tornado that impacted Webster and Dudley around 10 am that morning. She already knew by living in Worcester most of her life that weather coverage west of 495 was nearly non-existent. Western and Central Mass was truly forgotten areas in terms of weather coverage.

So, over the next few days, I bought the domain name route20weather and built a website. Route 20 Weather was officially launched on August 12, 2018 to give Western and Central Mass a better source of local weather forecast information. In addition, I wanted the forecasts to be without the hype and noise that you see with other weather forecasts.

In the past four years, I have been absolutely blown away by how much Route 20 Weather has grown and how much you trust me in terms of my weather forecasts.

Once again, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all of you for helping Route 20 Weather grow over the past four years. Without you, Route 20 Weather would not exist.

Finally, feel free to share all of our weather forecasts for Western and Central Mass with your family, friends, coworkers, neighbors and anyone else who you think may find our forecasts useful.

Thank You!!
