For The Rest Of This Afternoon: More clouds than sunshine can be expected throughout the rest of this afternoon. Some scattered showers are expected to affect the region starting during the mid and late afternoon hours.

Temperatures this afternoon will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s. Winds will be West at 10 to 20 mph.

Tonight: Showers are expected to become much more widespread during this evening as a robust area of low pressure and its associated frontal system pushes southward from northern New England. This weather system is quite potent and because of that, I expect that there could be some isolated thunderstorms during this evening.

The showers are expected to end for a while during the after midnight hours as we wait for the second wave of showers that can be expected during the day on Saturday.

Low temperatures will be near 40 Degrees. Winds will be West to Southwest at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph before midnight and Northwest at 15 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph after midnight.

Saturday: That robust low pressure system is expected to rotate through our area during the day on Saturday. This storm system will bring with it some very chilly temperatures for this time of year, along with windy and showery conditions all day Saturday.

First for Saturday morning - Widespread showers are expected throughout the morning on Saturday. There is the possibility for some snow showers to occur in the higher elevations of the Worcester Hills and the Berkshires during Saturday morning as the air is going to be quite chilly. Temperatures during Saturday morning will range from the upper 30s in the higher elevations of the Worcester Hills and the Berkshires to the low 40s across the rest of Western and Central Mass. It will also be windy during Saturday morning with North winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 to 40 mph. This means that wind chill temperatures during Saturday morning will be around 30 Degrees.

Turning to Saturday afternoon – Most of the widespread shower activity should come to an end by early afternoon. That being said, there should be sufficient amounts of instability in the atmosphere to produce some scattered shower activity from time to time during Saturday afternoon. Temperatures during Saturday afternoon will reach the upper 40s to low 50s. It will also be windy throughout Saturday afternoon with North winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 to 40 mph.

Sunday: A mixture of sunshine and clouds can be expected on Sunday. High temperatures will be near 70 Degrees. Winds will be West to Northwest at 10 to 15 mph.

Monday: Another low pressure system is expected to affect our weather during the day on Monday.

Skies during the day on Monday will be cloudy. In addition, there will be widespread showers throughout the day, along with the possibility of some isolated afternoon thunderstorms. Depending on the amount of instability in the atmosphere, there’s the possibility that any isolated thunderstorms could produce some small hail.

High temperatures will be near 70 Degrees.

Tuesday: A piece of atmospheric energy may break off from that low pressure system during Tuesday.

This means that Tuesday will be cloudy and there may be some scattered showers around from time to time. High temperatures will be near 60 Degrees.

Please include the names of the days. It's me again, gah, who has Vascular Dementia. I am doing everything to keep up on whats going on. What day is it, is a good way to start the day. My confusion iis getting worse - I can't remember the names of my 40+ friends. I cling to any clues I can. Thanks, gah
