Some Scattered Showers Tonight Into Early Thursday Morning Will Be Followed By A Nice Weekend In Terms Of Weather Across Western & Central Mass

For The Rest Of This Afternoon: An area of high pressure will remain in control of the weather throughout the rest of this afternoon. This high pressure system will stop the northward motion of a coastal low pressure system that’s located over the Mid-Atlantic states.

A mixture of some sunshine and lots of clouds can be expected throughout the rest of this afternoon. Temperatures will be between 70 and 75 Degrees. Winds will be East at 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight: That high pressure system is expected to shift a little more to the east tonight causing that coastal storm to our south to move a little closer to our area before it finally heads out to sea.

This means that skies throughout tonight will be cloudy. In addition, there may be some scattered showers around from time to time. Overall though, any showers should be light in intensity and will be hit or miss in coverage.

Low temperatures will be between 55 and 60 Degrees. Winds will be East at 5 to 10 mph before midnight and North at 5 to 10 mph after midnight.

Thursday: Any leftover scattered showers early in the morning will be done by or before mid-morning. The rest of the day on Thursday is expected to feature skies to become partly sunny by afternoon and high temperatures between 75 and 80 Degrees. Winds will be West to Northwest at 5 to 10 mph.

Friday: A warm and dry day is expected on Friday under partly sunny skies. High temperatures will be between 75 and 80 Degrees. Winds will be Northwest at 10 to 20 mph.

This Weekend: Some cooler temperatures can be expected on Saturday as a new high pressure system moves into the area. Skies on Saturday will be sunny with high temperatures near 65 Degrees.

Sunday looks sunny with high temperatures between 65 and 70 Degrees.

Monday Through Next Wednesday: Dry weather with warmer temperatures can be expected during the first half of next week.

Monday looks sunny with high temperatures between 70 and 75 Degrees.

Tuesday will be sunny with high temperatures between 75 and 80 Degrees.

Next Wednesday looks sunny with high temperatures between 75 and 80 Degrees.
