Rest Of This Week’s Weather Forecast For Western & Central Mass

It’s been a crazy busy few days trying to get everything moved into our new home in Sturbridge. In fact, it’s been so busy and hectic that I’ve barely had time to really sit down and look at the weather – until last night and this morning. Thankfully, we are now moved into the new home in Sturbridge and I have my new office all set up. With that said, I think that we’ll be unpacking boxes for a while now. Anyways, here is the latest forecast - This Afternoon: Plenty of sunshine is expected this afternoon and it’ll be downright mild with temperatures between 64 and 69 Degrees. Tonight: A weak frontal boundary is expected to move through the area tonight. This means that clouds will be on the increase this evening with cloudy skies expected after midnight tonight. In addition, a few showers are expected after midnight tonight. Low temperatures tonight will be between 40 and 45 Degrees. Wednesday: That frontal boundary is expected to push to the east during Wednesday morning with an area of high pressure building in during the afternoon. This all means that some leftover clouds and maybe a shower first thing in the morning will give way to lots of sunshine during the afternoon. High temperatures on Wednesday will be near 60 Degrees. Thursday: An area of high pressure will be positioned right over the area during Thursday. This means that lots of sunshine can be expected on Thursday with high temperatures between 50 and 55 Degrees. Thursday Night & Friday: A pretty robust frontal system is expected to move across the region late Thursday night into Friday. Skies will become cloudy on Thursday evening and showers will be on the increase after midnight, first over Western Mass and then across Central Mass. Widespread showers with locally heavy rainfall is expected across the entire area throughout Friday morning and into early Friday afternoon. The showers will come to an end across Western Mass by late Friday afternoon and then across Central Mass by Friday evening. About an inch of rainfall is expected from late Thursday night into Friday across Western and Central Mass. Low temperatures Thursday night will be between 40 and 45 Degrees. High temperatures Friday will be between 60 and 65 Degrees. This Weekend: Behind that cold front, the atmosphere is expected to cool down this weekend as a west to northwesterly wind flow sets up. Sunny to partly sunny skies are expected on both Saturday and Sunday. High temperatures Saturday will be near 55 Degrees. High temperatures Sunday will be between 45 and 50 Degrees.
