Rain has finally overspread a large part of Western and Central Mass at the time of this post & it is expected to continue to rain throughout the entire day of today before it gradually comes to an end sometime this evening.

So, on and off rain at various intensities can be expected throughout the day today. The rain should last into early this evening before it comes to an end towards midnight tonight.

Rainfall totals of between one-half of an inch (0.50") and one inch (1") can be expected across all of Western and Central Mass. Upwards of 2 inches of rain is a possibility in localized areas that see persistent bands of heavy rain today. While these rain totals are less than what was previously thought, they are still sufficient enough to produce a widespread soaking rain to much of the area today.

High temperatures today will be in the mid to upper 60s. Winds will be Northeast at 10 to 15 mph.
