Rain, Heavy At Times, Is Expected From Late This Afternoon Through Tonight Across Western & Central Mass

An area of low pressure now located over southern Pennsylvania will lift northward into New York State later today and tonight. This low pressure system is expected to bring several hours of rain to the entire area beginning late this afternoon and continuing through tonight.
Rain will overspread Western Mass between 4 and 6 pm with the rain beginning across Central Mass between 5 and 7 pm today.
The rain is then expected to continue throughout all of tonight. The rain will also be moderate to heavy in intensity, especially between 8 pm and 2 am.
It appears that the rain will come to an end across the area from south to north between about 6 am and 8 am Friday morning.
Total rainfall amounts will average between 1 and 2 inches across the entire area.
The rest of Halloween is expected to be quite windy under cloudy skies. Temperatures throughout the day will be between 50 and 55 Degrees. Winds will be West at 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 40-50 mph.
Quite windy conditions are then expected to continue throughout Friday night. Skies will be cloudy during the evening with skies becoming partly cloudy after midnight. Low temperatures will be near 35 Degrees. Winds will be West at 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 40-50 mph.
This weekend continues to look fairly decent in terms of weather. Windy conditions will likely persist through the day on Saturday with much less wind expected on Sunday.
Saturday looks sunny to partly sunny with high temperatures near 50 Degrees. Winds will be West at 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph.
Sunday is expected to be sunny with high temperatures near 50 Degrees.
