Our Stretch Of Dry Weather Is Expected To Continue Through This Weekend & Into Next Week Across Western & Central Mass

For Tonight: A big high pressure system will control the weather throughout tonight.

This means that clear skies can be expected throughout tonight. In addition, I do think that there may be some patchy areas of frost across the Berkshires as well as across areas near and north of Route 2. This means that those of you across these areas should cover or bring in plants that are sensitive to a light frost.

Elsewhere across Western and Central Mass, temperatures should be just “warm” enough so that frost shouldn’t occur.

Low temperatures will be between 37 and 42 Degrees except across northern Worcester County and across the Berkshires where low temperatures will be near 35 Degrees. Winds will be North at 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday & Thursday Night: That high pressure system will remain in control of the weather throughout Thursday and Thursday night.

Thursday looks sunny with high temperatures between 60 and 65 Degrees. Winds will be North at 5 to 10 mph for most of the day, but will become South late in the day.

Thursday night will be clear with low temperatures between 40 and 45 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 5 to 10 mph.

Friday Through This Weekend & Into Next Week: The stretch of no rainfall will continue right through this weekend and into next week. In addition, a warm-up in temperatures is also expected this weekend through early next week. Also, the next chance for any sort of rainfall probably will not occur until about next Wednesday.

Friday will be sunny with high temperatures near 70 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 15 mph.

Saturday looks sunny with high temperatures between 75 and 80 Degrees.

Sunday looks sunny with high temperatures between 80 and 85 Degrees.

Monday looks sunny with high temperatures near 80 Degrees.

Tuesday will be sunny with high temperatures between 75 and 80 Degrees.

A look ahead to next Wednesday shows that there is the possibility of some scattered showers as a frontal system moves through the area. High temperatures will be between 65 and 70 Degrees.
