For Tonight: An area of low pressure is expected to track from off of the Mid-Atlantic coast and travel just south of New England during tonight. This storm system looks to be close enough to the area to produce on and off showers throughout tonight.
So, cloudy skies are expected throughout tonight. In addition, on and off showers can be expected throughout tonight. I do think that the most widespread shower activity should occur during this evening through midnight and until about 1-2 am or so. By the early morning hours of Friday, the shower activity should become much more isolated in coverage.
Low temperatures tonight will be between 55 and 60 Degrees. Winds will be North to Northwest at around 10 mph.
Friday: The forecast for Friday has changed for parts of Central Mass as that low pressure system may still be close enough to give southern and southeastern parts of Worcester County some shower activity during the day.
A mixture of sunshine and clouds is expected across Western Mass during Friday with mostly cloudy skies expected throughout Friday across Central Mass. In addition, a few showers are expected across southern and southeastern parts of Worcester County from late morning into the afternoon hours. At this time, central and northern parts of Worcester County, as well as all of Western Mass should be dry throughout the day on Friday.
High temperatures will be between 70 and 75 Degrees. Dew point temperatures will be around 60 Degrees. Winds will be Northeast at 10 to 15 mph.
This Weekend: Unfortunately, this weekend looks a lot more unsettled than previously thought as a couple of waves of low pressure track through the region.
Saturday is expected to be cloudy and it appears that the coverage of the showers throughout the day will be fairly widespread. High temperatures will be between 65 and 70 Degrees. Dew point temperatures will be in the low 60s. Winds will be North to Northeast at around 10 mph.
Saturday night looks cloudy & it appears that the widespread showers will continue through the evening. These showers look to come to an end during the after midnight hours. Low temperatures will be between 55 and 60 Degrees.
Sunday is expected to be cloudy. It appears that there may be some scattered shower activity during the afternoon and evening hours. High temperatures will be between 70 and 75 Degrees. Dew point temperatures will be around 65 Degrees.
Early Next Week: Things should dry out during early next week as an area of high pressure builds into the region.
Monday looks partly sunny with high temperatures between 75 and 80 Degrees. Dew point temperatures will be in the low 50s.
Tuesday is expected to be sunny to partly sunny & potentially quite nice. High temperatures will be near 75 Degrees. Dew point temperatures will be in the upper 40s.
