Lots Of Sunshine With Summer Temperatures Are Expected Through Thursday

For The Rest Of Tonight: Clear skies are expected throughout the rest of the night tonight as a strong high pressure systems builds into the area. Low temperatures will be between 45 and 50 Degrees. Winds will be Southeast at 5 to 10 mph. Tuesday: Another really nice day is expected on Tuesday with lots of sunshine expected. High temperatures will be near 80 Degrees. Winds will be West at 5 to 10 mph. Wednesday & Thursday: That high pressure system will remain in place over our area during Wednesday and Thursday. This means that Wednesday will be sunny with high temperatures between 80 and 85 Degrees. Winds will be East to Northeast at 5 to 10 mph. Thursday looks sunny to partly sunny with high temperatures between 75 and 80 Degrees. Friday & Saturday: A strong upper level trough of low pressure is expected to push into the Great Lakes region by Saturday. In response to this trough, it is expected that a rather strong cold front will very slowly push through the region from Friday night through Saturday. This means that while Friday will probably start out with some sunshine, skies will become cloudy by afternoon. High temperatures Friday will be between 70 and 75 Degrees. Turning to Friday night, rain will overspread the entire area by the after midnight hours. Low temperatures Friday night will be between 60 and 65 Degrees. Rain is expected all day Saturday and the rain will probably be moderate to heavy at times. Given the strength of this cold front, there could be a few thunderstorms embedded within the rain. It also looks like the rain will continue into Saturday evening before coming to an end late Saturday night. Early indications point towards the potential of 1 to 2 inches of rainfall across the entire area from late Friday night through all day Saturday and into Saturday evening. High temperatures Saturday will be between 65 and 70 Degrees. Low temperatures Saturday night will be between 50 and 55 Degrees. Sunday & Next Monday: It appears that drier air will push into the region for Sunday and next Monday behind that strong cold front – although, it looks cool and windy both days. Sunday looks partly sunny and windy with high temperatures between 55 and 60 Degrees. Next Monday looks partly sunny and windy with high temperatures near 55 Degrees.
