For Tonight: Clear to partly cloudy skies are expected throughout tonight. Low temperatures will be between 60 and 65 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 20 mph.

Tuesday: A hot and humid day is on tap across all of Western and Central Mass for Tuesday.

Skies on Tuesday will start out sunny during the morning and will be partly sunny during the afternoon. It’s possible that there could be a very isolated shower or thunderstorm during the late afternoon hours. That said, most areas should stay dry on Tuesday.

High temperatures will be between 90 and 95 Degrees. It should be noted that high temperatures may reach the upper 90s in the Connecticut River Valley. Dew point temperatures in the low to mid 60s will not only make it feel hot, but also humid. Winds will be West to Southwest at 10 to 20 mph.

Wednesday: Another hot and humid day is expected on Wednesday as we await a cold front which is expected to push through during the afternoon.

A mixture of sunshine and clouds can be expected throughout the day on Wednesday. It will be hot and humid with high temperatures between 85 and 90 Degrees and dew point temperatures in the low to mid 60s.

As I already mentioned, a cold front is expected to cross the area during Wednesday afternoon. The combination of the forcing from the cold and an unstable air mass due to the hot and humid air will lead to the development of scattered thunderstorms during Wednesday afternoon.

At this point, I’m expecting that we’ll probably see a few scattered thunderstorms move through during the early and middle afternoon hours of Wednesday. Any of these thunderstorms will be capable of producing heavy downpours and frequent lightning. It is also possible that one or two of these storms might be on the strong side & be capable of producing some gusty winds. I’m not anticipating any sort of a severe weather event on Wednesday afternoon.

Thursday & Friday: Some much cooler temperatures are expected for both Thursday and Friday as a high pressure system builds in behind that cold front.

Thursday is expected to be partly sunny with high temperatures near 65 Degrees.

Friday looks partly sunny with high temperatures near 70 Degrees.

Memorial Day Weekend: Unfortunately, the weather may not cooperate for outdoor activities during Memorial Day weekend as a frontal system pushing northward into the area may lead to showery weather at times.

Saturday looks cloudy and there may be some scattered showers around from time to time. High temperatures will be near 65 Degrees.

Sunday is expected to be cloudy with on and off showers throughout the day. High temperatures will be near 65 Degrees.

Memorial Day looks cloudy with high temperatures near 65 Degrees.
