Dangerous Amounts Of Heat & Humidity Is Expected On Monday & Especially On Tuesday Across Western & Central Mass

The rest of the day today will feature quite a bit of sunshine & it will be hot and humid this afternoon. Temperatures this afternoon will be between 85 and 90 Degrees. Heat index readings will be around 95 Degrees. In addition to the heat and humidity, it will be windy throughout this afternoon with West at 15 to 20 mph with gusts to 30-35 mph.

- Tonight will be clear to partly cloudy, warm and humid with low temperatures near 70 Degrees. Winds will be Northwest at 5 to 10 mph.

I cannot emphasize enough that the heat and humidity on Monday & Tuesday will be no joke at all. Some common sense advice includes:

- Drinking lots of fluids (water, Gatorade, etc)

- Staying out of the sun during the hottest parts of the day. Preferably stay indoors, if you can, with air conditioning or a fan blowing directly on you.

- Checking up on those who are sensitive to heat and humidity.

Monday looks sunny to partly sunny, very hot and very humid with high temperatures between 91 and 96 Degrees. Heat index readings of 105 to 110 degrees can be expected leading to dangerous conditions for those of you outdoors & those of you who are sensitive to high amounts of heat and humidity.

Monday night looks clear, very warm and very humid with no relief likely. Low temperatures will be between 70 and 75 Degrees.

Tuesday looks sunny with very dangerous amounts of heat and humidity. High temperatures will be between 95 and 100 Degrees. Heat index readings of 105 to 110 degrees are expected leading to very dangerous conditions for those of you outdoors and those of you who are sensitive to high amounts of heat and humidity.
