Areas Of Smoky Skies Expected Tonight; Rain Is Expected On Saturday Across Western & Central Mass

For This Afternoon: Generally partly sunny skies are expected throughout this afternoon. Temperatures will be around 70 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 7 to 15 mph.

Tonight: Smoke from some huge wildfires across Ocean County, New Jersey will make its way into our area during tonight. This means that while skies will be partly cloudy throughout tonight, there will be areas of smoky skies. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was even a smell of smoke in the air at times.

Low temperatures will be between 50 and 55 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 15 mph before midnight and West at 10 to 15 mph after midnight.

Friday: A warm day is expected on Friday under sunny to partly sunny skies. High temperatures will be between 75 and 80 Degrees. Winds will be West to Southwest at 10 to 15 mph.

Saturday: An area of low pressure is expected to track across northern New England. This low pressure system will pull a cold front through our area during the day on Saturday bringing with it a rainy day to our area.

On and off rain can be expected throughout the day on Saturday. Rainfall totals of between three quarters of an inch (0.75”) and one inch (1.00”) looks likely during Saturday.

High temperatures will be between 60 and 65 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 15 to 20 mph with gusts to 30-35 mph.

Sunday: A mixture of some sunshine and lots of clouds with some much cooler temperatures is expected on Sunday.

High temperatures will be between 55 and 60 Degrees. Winds will be West to Northwest at 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph.

Monday Through Next Thursday: A stretch of some really nice weather looks likely during next week.

Monday looks sunny with high temperatures between 70 and 75 Degrees.

Tuesday will be partly sunny with high temperatures near 75 Degrees.

Wednesday looks partly sunny with high temperatures near 70 Degrees.

Next Thursday looks partly sunny with high temperatures near 65 Degrees.
