A Few Showers & Thunderstorms Are Possible Later This Afternoon & This Evening Across Western & Central Mass (Posted Late Wednesday Morning 4/15/2026)

A frontal system is currently positioned across southern New Hampshire, southern Vermont and far northern Mass. To the north of this front, temperatures are in the 50s and 60s. To the south of this front, temperatures are currently in the 70s. This front should remain nearly stationary where it is.

Skies during this afternoon will feature a mixture of sunshine and clouds. Temperatures will be in the mid to possibly upper 70s across Central Mass and around 80 Degrees or so across Western Mass. Winds will be West to Northwest at 5 to 10 mph.

It appears that a weather disturbance will push through the area late this afternoon and tonight. A few showers and thunderstorms may develop across the area by about 4-5 pm or so this afternoon. These showers and thunderstorms will affect the area until about 7-8 pm this evening. Any thunderstorms that do occur will likely not be strong or severe.

A second round of showers and thunderstorms will affect the entire area tonight between about midnight and 3-4 am. Heavy downpours and some lightning will be the main threat with any thunderstorms during the overnight hours of tonight. FINALLY - I wanted to post the donation links again for those who may want to still donate (or for those who may want to generously donate again). Much like many of you, finances remain extremely tight for us & it seems that every new revenue stream that I explore just isn't working right now. Any donations will be appreciated more than you know. To help us out using your credit card or debit card, please go to the following link - https://buy.stripe.com/dRm6oId2c3mc5Sq62Ffw40d .
