Widespread Rain Showers Sunday Morning Across Western & Central Mass

For This Afternoon: Milder temperatures will work into the region this afternoon under a southwesterly wind flow. Skies this afternoon will become increasingly more cloudy with temperatures between 40 and 45 Degrees. Winds this afternoon will be west to southwest at 5 to 10 mph. Tonight: A warm front is expected to approach the region tonight. Skies tonight will be cloudy and any rain showers should hold off until Sunday morning. Low temperatures tonight will be between 30 and 35 Degrees. Winds tonight will be south at 5 to 10 mph. Sunday: A warm front is expected to push northward across the region during Sunday morning. This will lead to widespread rain showers to occur during the morning and especially between 9 am and midday. During Sunday afternoon, that warm front will be located to our north and thus dry weather is expected throughout the afternoon. In fact, a mixture of some sunshine and lots of clouds can be expected during Sunday afternoon. It will be quite mild on Sunday with high temperatures near 60 Degrees. Winds on Sunday will be southwest at 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph. Sunday Night: A cold front is expected to push through the area during Sunday evening. Accompanying this front may be a line of weakening rain showers between 9 pm and midnight Sunday evening. Skies then should become partly cloudy after midnight on Sunday night. Low temperatures Sunday night will be between 40 and 45 Degrees. Winds on Sunday night will be west at 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph. Monday: Another area of low pressure is expected to track across central New England during Monday afternoon and Monday night. Rain showers are expected across the entire area during Monday afternoon and Monday evening. It will be mild on Monday with high temperatures near 55 Degrees. Winds on Monday will be southwest at 7 to 14 mph. Tuesday: That low pressure system will pull away to the east during Tuesday morning. Morning clouds will give way to partly sunny skies during Tuesday afternoon. High temperatures on Tuesday will be near 45 Degrees. Wednesday Through Friday: Dry weather looks likely for the second half of next week. Wednesday looks partly sunny with high temperatures near 45 Degrees. Thursday is expected to be partly sunny with high temperatures between 45 and 50 Degrees. Friday is expected to be partly sunny with high temperatures between 45 and 50 Degrees.
