Rain Ends By Mid-Afternoon Across Central Mass; Lots Of Sunshine Expected Sunday & Monday Across Western & Central Mass

For This Afternoon: The low pressure system that has affected our weather the last couple of days will move away during this afternoon.


Any leftover showers across far eastern parts of Western Mass will end by early afternoon with skies becoming partly sunny by late afternoon across all of Western Mass.


As for Central Mass, rain will continue for a while early this afternoon with the rain ending everywhere by mid-afternoon. Skies will remain cloudy during the late afternoon hours.


Temperatures will range from 55 to 60 Degrees across Central Mass to near 65 Degrees across Western Mass.


Winds will be West to Northwest at 15 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph.


Tonight: Clear skies are expected during tonight with low temperatures between 43 and 48 Degrees. Winds will be West to Northwest at 6 to 12 mph.


Sunday: Lots of sunshine can be expected throughout the day on Sunday. High temperatures will be between 65 and 70 Degrees. Winds will be Northwest at 10 to 20 mph.


Sunday Night: An area of high pressure will control the weather throughout Sunday night.


Clear skies are expected on Sunday night with low temperatures between 37 and 42 Degrees. Some of the normally colder spots and deeper valleys may fall to between 30 and 35 Degrees during Sunday night. Winds will be West to Northwest at 5 to 10 mph.


Monday & Tuesday: That high pressure system is expected to gradually move to the east during Monday and Tuesday.


Lots of sunshine can be expected on Monday with high temperatures between 70 and 75 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 20 mph.


Monday night will be partly cloudy with low temperatures between 50 and 55 Degrees.


Tuesday will start out partly sunny during the morning. Clouds will be on the increase during the afternoon. High temperatures will be between 70 and 75 Degrees.


Wednesday Through Friday: A slow moving frontal system from the Midwestern United States and the Ohio Valley will crawl towards our area during late next week.


Wednesday looks like there may be a mixture of some sunshine and lots of clouds. High temperatures will be between 70 and 75 Degrees.


Thursday looks like there will be a mixture of some sunshine and lots of clouds with high temperatures near 75 Degrees.


Friday looks cloudy and there may be some scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will be between 75 and 80 Degrees.
