Quiet Weather This Week Will Be Followed By Rain On Friday Night & Saturday

For Late This Afternoon Through Tonight: A frontal system now located over western New York State will push across northern New England during this evening before a new high pressure system builds into the area. Skies late this afternoon through this evening are expected to be cloudy. In addition, there is the possibility for a couple of snow flurries between 5 pm and 9 pm across the northern Worcester Hills and the Berkshires. No snow accumulation is expected. By late tonight, skies are expected to become partly cloudy. Temperatures late this afternoon will fall from the low 40s into the mid to upper 30s. Low temperatures later tonight will be between 30 and 35 Degrees. Winds late this afternoon will be Southwest at 5 to 10 mph. Winds tonight will be South at 5 to 10 mph before midnight and West at 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Tuesday: An area of high pressure will continue to build into the area during Tuesday. Skies on Tuesday will be partly sunny with high temperatures near 45 Degrees. Winds will be Northwest at 8 to 16 mph. Wednesday Through Thursday: High pressure will control the weather throughout Wednesday and Thursday. This means that both Wednesday and Thursday will feature plenty of sunshine. High temperatures Wednesday will be between 45 and 50 Degrees. High temperatures Thursday will be between 52 and 57 Degrees. Friday Through Saturday: A coastal storm system combined with an eastward moving frontal boundary will bring the possibility of widespread rain to the entire area during all of Friday night and all of Saturday. Friday should start out partly sunny, but skies will become cloudy during the afternoon. High temperatures will be near 60 Degrees. Rain looks quite possible throughout all of Friday night and all of Saturday. Low temperatures Friday night will be between 45 and 50 Degrees. High temperatures Saturday will be between 50 and 55 Degrees. Sunday: That coastal storm system will push into the Canadian Maritimes by Saturday night and Sunday with high pressure gradually moving into the area. Sunday looks partly sunny with high temperatures between 45 and 50 Degrees.
