No Relief Is Expected From The Drought Conditions That Are Affecting Western & Central Mass

For The Rest Of This Afternoon: Lots of sunshine with low humidity levels are expected for the rest of this afternoon across the entire area. Temperatures will be between 80 and 85 Degrees. Winds will be northwest at 5 to 10 mph. Tonight: Clear to partly cloudy skies are expected tonight with low temperatures near 60 Degrees. Winds tonight will be west at 5 to 10 mph. Tuesday: An area of high pressure will move to our east while a slow moving cold front approaches from the west. This all means that Tuesday will probably feature lots of sunshine to begin the day with increasing clouds expected during the afternoon. Any showers will hold off until evening. High temperatures Tuesday will be between 80 and 85 Degrees. Winds will be southwest at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph. Tuesday Night: A cold front is expected to push across the region during Tuesday night. Widespread showers are expected to overspread the region during the evening and then continue through midnight. The shower activity is expected to come to an end late Tuesday night. Rainfall amounts Tuesday night will likely average between one tenth of an inch and one quarter of an inch. Definitely not enough to make any dents in the very dry conditions across the region. Low temperatures Tuesday night will be near 65 Degrees. Winds will be southwest at 10 to 20 mph. Wednesday Through Friday: High pressure builds into the area for Wednesday and Thursday before a frontal system moves through on Friday. Wednesday will be sunny to partly sunny with high temperatures between 80 and 85 Degrees. Thursday looks partly sunny with high temperatures between 80 and 85 Degrees. Cloudy skies with some shower activity is expected on Friday. This shower activity will likely, once again, not be enough to put any wholesale dents in our dry conditions. High temperatures Friday will be between 75 and 80 Degrees. Thank You: As always, I thank you for your continued support.
