Heavy Rain With Gusty Southerly Winds Are Expected Sunday Night & Monday Morning

For The Rest Of This Afternoon: A mixture of some sunshine and quite a bit in cloudiness is likely to continue throughout the rest of this afternoon. In addition, a very stray and isolated snow flurry or two is possible.

Temperatures will be between 30 and 35 Degrees. Winds will be North at 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight: Skies are expected to become partly cloudy this evening with clear to partly cloudy skies expected after midnight tonight.

Low temperatures will be between 15 and 20 Degrees. Winds will be Northwest at 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday: A sunny to partly sunny day is expected on Thursday with high temperatures near 35 Degrees. Winds will be West at 5 to 10 mph.

Friday Through Saturday: Dry and quiet weather is still expected throughout Friday and Saturday.

Friday looks sunny with high temperatures between 40 and 45 Degrees. Winds will be West at 5 to 10 mph.

A mix of sun and clouds is expected for Saturday with high temperatures between 45 and 50 Degrees.

Sunday: We may pull off a decent day on Sunday before the heavy rain moves in. Even though Sunday looks dry, I think that we’ll see an increase in clouds during the day. High temperatures will be near 55 Degrees.

Heavy Rain With Gusty Winds Are Expected Sunday Night & Monday Morning: A period of strong south winds and heavy rain is expected across the entire area during Sunday night and Monday morning as a strong frontal system pushes through the region.

Rain looks to overspread the area during Sunday evening with heavy rain likely during the period from about midnight Sunday night through the first half of Monday morning. Once that front passes through, the rain looks to come to an end during Monday afternoon. Rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches still look likely with this weather system.

In addition to the rain, it looks pretty windy from about midnight Sunday night right through much of Monday. South winds will increase from 10 to 20 mph during Sunday evening to 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 40 to 50 mph during the after midnight hours of Sunday night. During Monday morning, winds look to shift from the south to the west and will blow at speeds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 40 to 50 mph. As we move through Monday afternoon, West winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 40 mph can be expected.

Temperatures during Sunday night and Monday look quite warm for this time of year with temperatures on Sunday night of around 50 Degrees and temperatures on Monday remaining around 50 Degrees.
