The forecast for the rest of this Thanksgiving Day is for a line of heavy showers and maybe a rumble of thunder to push across Western Mass between now and about 2-2:30 pm and then across Central Mass between 2 and 3 pm or so. Once these showers move past the area, things should begin to dry out by this evening. A cloudy day is expected for Friday with high temperatures near 55 Degrees. The weekend looks dry with a mix of sun and clouds on Saturday and a sunny day on Sunday. High temperatures both days will be between 50 and 55 Degrees. It looks like we are in for a wind-swept heavy rain event from Monday afternoon through Monday night. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches look very likely along with south to southeast winds, which may gust up to 40-50 mph at times.
