Another Day Of Thunderstorms Expected On Wednesday Across Western & Central Mass

Tonight looks a lot quieter in terms of weather across the region. Skies will be cloudy with humid conditions tonight. In addition, there may be some very isolated showers this evening. Low temperatures will be near 65 Degrees. Winds will be South at 10 to 20 mph. Wednesday looks like another active weather day with thunderstorms a threat from late morning through the afternoon and evening hours. Skies on Wednesday will be cloudy and it will be warm and very humid. It appears that scattered thunderstorms will develop across mainly Central Mass by late morning with the scattered thunderstorms persisting into the early afternoon hours. It then appears that additional scattered thunderstorms will track eastward across Western Mass during the late afternoon hours and then across Central Mass during the early evening hours. Heavy downpours and frequent lightning will be the primary threat from thunderstorms. That said, a strong thunderstorm or two is possible and any strong storms could produce some very gusty winds. High temperatures Wednesday will be between 75 and 80 Degrees. Winds will be South at 5 to 10 mph. Turning To Wednesday Night – It appears that scattered thunderstorms will persist until about midnight across mostly Central Mass with dry weather anticipated after midnight. It will still be quite humid with low temperatures near 65 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 5 to 10 mph. Thursday looks to feature a mixture of sunshine and clouds, along with warm and humid conditions. An isolated shower or two is possible during the afternoon, but most areas should stay dry. High temperatures will be near 80 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 5 to 10 mph. Friday is expected to be partly sunny, warm and humid with high temperatures between 80 and 85 Degrees. Turning To This Weekend: Current indications point towards Saturday being the better weather day and Sunday looking quite unsettled. Saturday looks like it’ll feature a mixture of sunshine and clouds with high temperatures near 80 Degrees. A frontal boundary is forecast to push through the area during the day on Sunday. In addition, a wave of low pressure may try to form along this front, which could enhance the rainfall. This all means that I expect widespread showers and scattered thunderstorms during Sunday, especially in the afternoon. It will be very humid with high temperatures near 75 Degrees. Looking Even Further Ahead Towards Monday Of Next Week & The Fourth Of July – It appears that scattered showers will persist into at least part of Monday with the Fourth of July currently looking dry under partly sunny skies. High temperatures Monday will be near 80 Degrees. High temperatures for the Fourth of July will be near 85 Degrees. Unfortunately, both days also look humid.
