A Stretch Of Quiet Weather Is Expected Across Western & Central Mass Through Much Of Next Week; The Next Chance For Some Snow May Be Around Friday Night Into Next Saturday

For Tonight: Partly cloudy skies are expected throughout tonight with low temperatures between Zero and 5 Degrees. Winds will be North to Northwest at 5 to 10 mph before midnight and North to Northwest at 10 to 20 mph after midnight.

Sunday: An intense low pressure system still looks to track well to the south and east of Nantucket during the day on Sunday. The track of this storm will be too far offshore to bring any snow at all to Western and Central Mass.

Varying amounts of cloud cover can be expected throughout the day on Sunday. High temperatures will be between 20 and 25 Degrees. Winds will be North to Northwest at 15 to 20 mph.

Next Week’s Weather Outlook: A large part of next week looks quiet in terms of weather. While temperatures next week look milder as compared to what they’ve been lately, the temperatures will still be below average for this time of year. Also, there will probably be a little bit of melting of snow next week, but most of the snowpack will remain in place.

Monday is expected to be sunny with high temperatures around 30 Degrees. Winds will be Northwest at 10 to 20 mph.

Tuesday looks partly sunny with high temperatures between 25 and 30 Degrees.

Wednesday is expected to be sunny with high temperatures near 30 Degrees.

Thursday looks sunny with high temperatures around 25 Degrees.

Friday looks to start out sunny, but skies will become cloudy during the afternoon as a low pressure system may approach the region. High temperatures will be near 30 Degrees.

Next Chance For Some Snow May Be Around Friday Night Into Next Saturday: I am going to be keeping an eye on the possibility of a low pressure system off of the New England coast on Friday night. While it looks unlikely right now that this storm system will bring significant snow amounts to the area, this low pressure system may bring some snow (maybe a couple of inches or so of snow) to the entire area during Friday night that lasts into next Saturday.
