A Few Showers Expected Tonight; Scattered Showers & Thunderstorms Expected Thursday Afternoon; More Scattered Thunderstorms Are Expected Saturday Afternoon, A Few Of Which Might Be On The Strong Side

For The Rest Of This Afternoon: A mix of sun and clouds can be expected throughout the rest of this afternoon. There may be some isolated showers around by early evening.

Temperatures will be around 70 Degrees. Winds will be Southeast at 7 to 14 mph.

Tonight: A warm front is expected to push through the region tonight. This warm front will bring with a night of scattered showers across the entire area.

All-in-all, I expect cloudy skies throughout tonight along with scattered showers. Low temperatures will be near 55 Degrees. Winds will be East to Southeast at 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday: We are expected to be in a warm and humid air mass throughout the day on Thursday under cloudy skies throughout the day.

A few scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible during Thursday afternoon. That said, there will be really no sources of lift available & because of this any showers or thunderstorms that do occur will be very hit or miss.

High temperatures will be between 70 and 75 Degrees. Winds will be Southeast at 5 to 10 mph.

Friday: An area of low pressure will be pushing across the western Great Lakes region. Way out ahead of this low pressure system, it is expected that a surface trough of low pressure will move through the region during the afternoon and evening.

A mixture of sunshine and clouds is expected on Friday, along with warm and humid conditions. Some late afternoon and early evening scattered showers are expected due to the passage of that trough.

High temperatures will be between 75 and 80 Degrees. Winds will be South to Southwest at 6 to 12 mph.

Saturday: A busy weather day in terms of possible strong to even severe thunderstorms looks plausible for Saturday.

A cold front is expected to push across the region during the day on Saturday. The lift and energy from this front looks to try to combine with a warm and humid air mass leading to scattered thunderstorms from late morning through the afternoon hours.

Skies during the day on Saturday will be cloudy. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are a possibility from the late morning hours through the afternoon hours. A few of the thunderstorms might be on the strong to possibly severe side with gusty winds, torrential downpours and lightning. This will be something that I’ll be watching and will have updates for you as needed.

Sunday: Cloudy skies with cooler temperatures are expected on Sunday. In addition, some isolated showers are possible during the afternoon.
