A Few Showers Are Expected During The Rest Of This Afternoon Across Western & Central Mass

Some atmospheric instability has led to the formation of some scattered showers across mostly the hilly terrain of Western Mass at the time of this writing. These showers are heading in a southeasterly direction.
It looks as if the scattered showers will continue to occur across much of the area throughout the rest of this afternoon. Don't be surprised to see a rumble or two of thunder, but any thunderstorms should be very limited in coverage.
These showers will come to an end by early this evening once the sun sets.
Temperatures this afternoon will be in the low to mid 70s and winds will be West to Northwest at 10 to 15 mph.
After a really nice day on Thursday with lots of sunshine and high temperatures between 70 and 75 Degrees, a cold front is expected to affect the area during the day on Friday.
This means that skies throughout the day on Friday will be generally cloudy. There looks to be the possibility of some scattered showers during the morning with scattered showers and thunderstorms expected during the mid and late afternoon hours. It is possible that a couple of the thunderstorms could be on the strong side with gusty winds and small hail. At this point, I'm not expecting any sort of severe weather on Friday afternoon.
High temperatures Friday will be around 70 Degrees.
The passage of that cold front will bring in some very nice weather for the Labor Day weekend.
Saturday looks sunny with high temperatures near 70 Degrees.
Sunday and Labor Day both look sunny with high temperatures both days between 70 and 75 Degrees.
