7 pm Thunderstorm Update For The Worcester Hills & The Worcester Metro

A line of thunderstorms currently stretch from near Ware northeastward through Hardwick, Barre to just west of Princeton. These storms are moving to the southeast at a forward speed of about 20 mph.

It is expected that these thunderstorms will reach areas from Spencer and the Brookfields through Paxton and Holden by about 7:15-7:30 pm and then reach areas from Leicester through Worcester, Boylston, Clinton and Bolton by 7:45 pm. Areas from Auburn through Shrewsbury to Northborough may be impacted by these storms beginning around 8 pm.

Heavy downpours and some lightning will be the main threats with these storms as they move through.
