Radar imagery at the time of this posting showed a line of thunderstorms producing heavy downpours and some lightning stretching from Warren, the Brookfields and Spencer northeastward through Paxton, Holden, Rutland and Sterling. This line of thunderstorms is moving to the southeast at a forward speed of around 15-20 mph.
It appears that the southern end of these storms have expanded some & because of that, areas around parts of Sturbridge and Charlton will be impacted by these storms too.
It looks probable that these storms should reach areas from Sturbridge (mainly the Route 20, Mass Pike, Route 148 & Route 49 parts) through Worcester, Boylston, Clinton and Bolton by about 7:45-8 pm or so.
Areas from Charlton through Auburn and Shrewsbury look to be affected by these storms starting around 8 pm or so.
Areas from Oxford through Millbury, Grafton and Westborough looks to be affected by these storms by 8:15-8:30 pm.
Heavy downpours and some lightning will be the main threats with these storms.
