The worst of the thunderstorms are now completely done & we're just left with an area of rain that will continue pushing across the Pioneer Valley of Western Mass and across much of Central Mass.
It is expected that this rain will continue for about the next 1-2 hours or so & should come to an end by very late tonight. There is expected to be no additional thunderstorms throughout the rest of tonight.
A warm and very humid night is also expected across the entire area.
SATURDAY looks to be a very warm and quite humid day under a mixture of sunshine and clouds. High temperatures will be close to 90 Degrees. Dew point temperatures will be between 70 and 75 Degrees.
In addition to this, I do think that there will be the threat for some evening thunderstorms on Saturday. The greatest threat for thunderstorms on Saturday looks to be between 6 pm and 9 pm across Western Mass and between 7 pm and 11 pm across Central Mass. A few of the thunderstorms could be on the strong to severe side & be capable of producing gusty winds, torrential downpours with localized flooding & frequent lightning. More updates on Saturday evening's potential thunderstorm threat will be posted as needed during the day on Saturday - so, keep checking back.
SUNDAY looks to feature partly sunny skies throughout the day. High temperatures will be around 90 Degrees. Dew point temperatures will be between 65 and 70 Degrees.
