Before I get into the latest forecast, I would like to thank each and every one of you for following me here at Route 20 Weather. Many of you have been following me since I started Route 20 Weather in August of 2018.
I am writing this to ask for your help as we are having difficulties with getting our bills paid. The reason for this is due to the cost of utilities, groceries, housing and other expenses. I want to add that we have significantly cut back on many things, but even with this, our financial situation right now is concerning.
To help us out with expenses, I hope you might send a donation our way (PayPal or Venmo).

Now onto the latest forecast for Western & Central Mass -
For Tonight: A weak low pressure system is expected to move to the southeast of the Cape during this evening before heading towards Atlantic Canada.
Some very isolated showers are possible this evening, but most areas will stay dry throughout tonight. Other than that, skies will be cloudy throughout tonight.
Low temperatures will be between 50 and 55 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 15 mph.
Friday: A mixture of some sunshine and lots of clouds can be expected throughout the day on Friday. Scattered showers and maybe a thunderstorm or two is a possibility during the afternoon.
High temperatures will be near 75 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 15 mph.
Friday Night & Saturday: An area of low pressure is expected to pass right over Southern New England during the day on Saturday. This low pressure system will bring with it another round of rain from Friday night through much of Saturday.
Rain is expected to overspread the entire area by or just after midnight on Friday night. This rain is then expected to continue through the late night hours of Friday night. Rain is then expected throughout the day on Saturday and the rain may be heavy at times, especially during the morning.
Rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches can be expected from late Friday night through Saturday.
Low temperatures Friday night will be between 50 and 55 Degrees. High temperatures Saturday will be near 65 Degrees.
Winds Friday night will be Southwest at 5 to 10 mph before midnight and East to Southeast at 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Winds on Saturday will be West at 10 to 20 mph.
Sunday: An upper level low pressure system looks to move across the region on Sunday.
All-in-all, Sunday looks to be a cloudy day and there may be some isolated showers during the afternoon. High temperatures will be near 65 Degrees.
Monday Through Next Thursday: That upper level low pressure system looks to control the weather on Monday before high pressure moves in for Tuesday and Wednesday.
Monday looks cloudy with high temperatures between 65 and 70 Degrees.
Tuesday is expected to be sunny to partly sunny with high temperatures between 75 and 80 Degrees.
Wednesday looks partly sunny with high temperatures between 75 and 80 Degrees.
Turning to next Thursday, we’ll have to keep an eye on the progression of an eastward moving frontal system. The speed of this front will be important in determining whether showers will occur on Thursday or if they will hold off until Thursday night into Friday.
At this point, I’m going to go with cloudy skies for next Thursday with the possibility of some scattered showers during the later afternoon hours. High temperatures will be near 75 Degrees.
