Widespread Frost Is Expected Tonight Across Western & Central Mass

For This Afternoon: Plenty of sunshine is expected for this afternoon with temperatures around 55 Degrees. Winds will be Northwest at 10 to 20 mph. Tonight: Decreasing winds with clear skies and dry air will lead to temperatures falling quickly tonight. I think that a fairly widespread frost is likely tonight into early Sunday morning with low temperatures of 32 to 36 Degrees expected. Winds will be West at around 5 mph. Sunday: Lots of sunshine can be expected throughout Sunday with high temperatures near 60 Degrees. Winds will be West at 10 to 20 mph. Monday Through Wednesday: The first half of next week looks quiet in terms of weather across the region. Monday is expected to be sunny to partly sunny with high temperatures between 60 and 65 Degrees. Tuesday looks sunny to partly sunny with high temperatures between 60 and 65 Degrees. Wednesday is expected to be partly sunny with high temperatures near 65 Degrees. Thursday & Friday: A strong cold front is expected to push eastward late next week and is currently expected to push through our area on Thursday night into Friday morning. All indications are that this cold front will be packed with quite a bit of energy and moisture. Thursday is expected to be partly sunny with high temperatures near 65 Degrees. Heavy showers with the chance for thunderstorms look likely beginning after midnight Thursday night and continuing through all of Friday morning before it tapers off and ends Friday afternoon. Gusty winds and torrential downpours are likely with any of the heavy shower or thunderstorm activity. Low temperatures Thursday night will be between 50 and 55 Degrees. High temperatures Friday will be between 60 and 65 Degrees.
