Weekend Weather Forecast For Western & Central Mass

For This Afternoon: A mixture of sunshine and clouds under a hazy smoky sky can be expected this afternoon after this morning’s clouds and fog. Temperatures will be near 80 Degrees. Winds will be Southeast at 5 to 10 mph.


Tonight & Saturday: An area of high pressure is expected to control the weather during tonight and Saturday.


Skies will start out partly cloudy this evening, but will become cloudy after midnight. In addition, areas of fog can be expected during the after midnight hours. Low temperatures will be between 60 and 65 Degrees. Winds will be South at 5 to 10 mph.


Saturday will start out with areas of fog during the morning with partly sunny skies expected during the afternoon. Some scattered showers are possible across Western Mass towards evening. High temperatures will be between 75 and 80 Degrees. Winds will be South at 10 to 15 mph.


Saturday Night: A slow moving cold front will push eastward from the Great Lakes region.


This means that cloudy skies can be expected throughout Saturday night. In addition, some isolated showers can be expected from time to time, especially over Western Mass. Low temperatures will be near 65 Degrees. Winds will be South at 5 to 10 mph.


Sunday: That slow moving cold front will continue approaching our area from the west during Sunday.


Skies during Sunday will be cloudy across the entire area. In addition, isolated showers during the morning and scattered showers during the afternoon can be expected across Western Mass. Across Central Mass, some isolated showers can be expected during the afternoon. High temperatures will be between 75 and 80 Degrees. Winds will be South at 10 to 20 mph.


Sunday Night & Monday: That slow moving cold front will push across Southern New England during the day on Monday.


Sunday night will be cloudy and there will be showers around, especially after midnight. Low temperatures will be near 65 Degrees.


Monday looks cloudy and there will be widespread showers around throughout the day. In addition, some scattered thunderstorms can be expected during the afternoon as that cold front actually moves through the area. High temperatures will be near 75 Degrees.


Tuesday Through Next Friday: Leftover morning scattered showers Tuesday morning will give way to partly sunny skies during Tuesday afternoon. High temperatures will be near 70 Degrees.


The rest of next week looks quite nice as a cooler and much less humid air mass pushes into the area. It may actually feel like early fall during the middle part of next week.


Wednesday looks sunny with high temperatures between 70 and 75 Degrees under some very dry air.


Thursday will be sunny with high temperatures near 75 Degrees.


Next Friday looks sunny with high temperatures between 75 and 80 Degrees.
