Weekend Weather Forecast For Western & Central Mass

For The Rest Of This Afternoon: A big high pressure system will control the weather throughout the rest of this afternoon.


This means that there will be plenty of sunshine throughout the rest of this afternoon. Temperatures will be between 70 and 75 Degrees. Winds will be East at 5 to 10 mph.


Tonight: Clear skies are expected throughout tonight with low temperatures between 48 and 53 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 5 to 10 mph.


Saturday: A weak frontal system is expected to begin to approach the area during the day on Saturday. Out ahead of this front, expect an overall southwesterly wind flow, which may cause a little increase in the humidity levels. Also, there’s the possibility there could be an isolated late day shower or two well in advance of that weak front.


So, Saturday looks to start out partly sunny during the morning, however, skies will feature more clouds than sunshine during the afternoon. There’s also the possibility of a very isolated shower or two during the late afternoon hours. That said, most areas should stay dry during the day on Saturday.


High temperatures will be near 70 Degrees. Dew point temperatures will rise into the mid and upper 50s during the afternoon. Winds will be Southwest at 7 to 15 mph.


Sunday: That weak frontal system looks to move through the area at some point during the afternoon. This front looks quite weak, but there should be just enough forcing from the front to produce a few showers and maybe even a thunderstorm or two.


Sunday is expected to feature a mixture of sunshine and clouds throughout the day. There may be a few showers and perhaps a thunderstorm or two during the afternoon hours. All-in-all though, Sunday will not be a wash out at all & in fact, many areas will probably not see any rain at all.


High temperatures will be between 70 and 75 Degrees. Dew point temperatures will be between 55 and 60 Degrees. Winds will be West at 6 to 12 mph.


Next Week’s Weather Outlook: All-in-all, next week looks quiet in terms of weather across the region. For those of you heading to the Big E in Springfield next week, expect no weather problems at all.


Monday and Tuesday both look partly sunny with high temperatures near 75 Degrees.


Wednesday looks sunny with high temperatures near 75 Degrees.


Thursday is expected to be sunny with high temperatures between 70 and 75 Degrees.


Next Friday looks sunny with high temperatures near 75 Degrees.
