Weekend Weather Forecast For Western & Central Mass

For This Afternoon: A mild rest of the afternoon is expected across Western and Central Mass. In addition, some pop up showers are possible, especially across areas north of the Mass Pike. Temperatures this afternoon will remain in the upper 50s to low 60s. A southwest wind will continue to gust up to 25 mph at times. Tonight: A weak cold front will push across the region tonight. This means that skies tonight should be partly cloudy and there may be a stray shower or two. Our southwest wind is expected to shift into the west and northwest late tonight. Low temperatures tonight will be between 35 and 40 Degrees. Saturday: An area of high pressure will build across the region on Saturday bringing with it a partly sunny day and mild temperatures. High temperatures Saturday will be between 55 and 60 Degrees. Sunday Through Monday:Another frontal system will push towards our area during Sunday before it moves across our area during Monday. I think that we may squeak out a dry day on Sunday with partly sunny skies to start the day and increasing clouds during the afternoon. High temperatures Sunday will be near 45 Degrees. Widespread rain showers look likely from about Sunday evening until midday Monday. Some partial clearing is possible by late afternoon Monday. Low temperatures Sunday night will be near 40 Degrees. High temperatures Monday will be between 50 and 55 Degrees. Tuesday Through Wednesday: Sunny skies are expected on Tuesday with high temperatures between 40 and 45 Degrees. Cloudy skies are expected on Wednesday and there may be some isolated showers during the late afternoon hours. High temperatures Wednesday will be near 50 Degrees. Thanksgiving Day: The weather looks wetter on Thanksgiving Day than previously thought as an area of low pressure may pass by the area. With that said, the weather guidance that I look at when writing a forecast are all in disagreement on when exactly the rain will push out of the area. Some guidance show the rain occurring on Wednesday night and dry weather on Thanksgiving. Other guidance are showing a fairly wet Thanksgiving Day. At this point, I’m thinking that at least the morning hours will feature rain across the region with drier weather moving in during the afternoon hours on Thanksgiving Day. High temperatures will be near 50 Degrees. Thank you for reading mylatest forecast for Western and Central Mass.
