Warm & Dry Weather Will Last Through Tuesday Before We See Widespread Showers On Wednesday Across Western & Central Mass

For This Afternoon: An area of high pressure located over the area will provide a sunny and warm afternoon across all of Western and Central Mass.

Temperatures will be between 80 and 85 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight: Clear skies are expected throughout tonight with low temperatures between 55 and 60 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 15 mph.

Monday: Another warm and dry day under lots of sunshine can be expected on Monday as that high pressure system remains in control of the weather.

High temperatures will be around 80 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 20 mph.

Monday Night: Clear skies can be expected throughout Monday night with low temperatures between 55 and 60 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 20 mph.

Tuesday: Warm and dry weather is expected once again on Tuesday under sunny to partly sunny skies.

High temperatures will be between 75 and 80 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph.

Tuesday Night & Wednesday: A cold front is expected to slowly push through the area during Tuesday night and Wednesday bringing with it some very much-needed rainfall.

Current indications seem to point towards widespread showers overspreading all of Western and Central Mass during the after midnight hours of Tuesday night. Widespread showers are then expected to continue across the entire area throughout the day on Wednesday. Some of the showers could be heavy in intensity between about the pre-dawn hours of Wednesday morning and midday Wednesday.

Rainfall amounts from late Tuesday night through Wednesday look to average around one half of an inch (0.50”) across the entire area.

Low temperatures Tuesday night will be near 55 Degrees. High temperatures Wednesday will be near 65 Degrees.

Wednesday Night: That cold front is expected to push offshore by Wednesday evening & this means that the showers will come to an end by about sunset on Wednesday evening.

Once the showers end, skies will quickly become clear to partly cloudy during Wednesday evening with clear skies expected during the after midnight hours. Low temperatures will be between 35 and 40 Degrees.

Thursday & Thursday Night: Lots of sunshine can be expected throughout the day on Thursday with high temperatures between 55 and 60 Degrees.

Next Weekend: Lots of sunshine can be expected on Saturday with high temperatures near 65 Degrees.

Next Sunday looks partly sunny with high temperatures between 60 and 65 Degrees.
