Very Nice Weather Will Continue Through This Weekend Across Western & Central Mass
For This Afternoon & Tonight: An area of high pressure will control our weather throughout all of this afternoon and tonight. At the same time this is occurring, a warm front is expected to cross far southern Quebec province and far northern New England during this afternoon. That front will not directly impact our weather, except to produce some high cloudiness across the region.
This all means that skies will be partly sunny throughout this afternoon. Temperatures will be around 55 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at 5 to 10 mph.
Partly cloudy skies are expected during tonight. Low temperatures will be near 40 Degrees. Winds will be Southwest at around 10 mph.
Thursday Through Friday: An area of high pressure is generally expected to control the weather throughout Thursday and Friday. Now, it appears that a very weak frontal boundary will push through the area during the overnight hours of Thursday night. It is possible that this front could bring with it a very isolated shower or two during Thursday night, particularly between midnight Thursday night and the predawn hours of Friday morning.

Next Week’s Weather Outlook: Our long stretch of nice weather is expected to come to an end next week as a couple of weather systems will bring some unsettled weather to the region at times.
Monday looks partly sunny with high temperatures near 60 Degrees.
A weak frontal system looks to cross the region during Tuesday. This means that cloudy skies are expected on Tuesday & there may be a few isolated showers around. High temperatures will be near 55 Degrees.
Sunshine returns to the area for Wednesday with high temperatures between 50 and 55 Degrees.
It appears possible that the weather will turn stormy for late next week as a rather robust frontal system will cross the region. The exact timing of when this front will move through is uncertain. Some weather guidance shows the front moving through during the day on Friday while other guidance points to a Friday night frontal crossing. At this point, I’m going to split the difference & go with a Friday afternoon frontal crossing.
Thursday looks partly sunny with high temperatures between 60 and 65 Degrees.
