For This Afternoon: Generally cloudy skies are expected this afternoon with cool and raw conditions. Temperatures this afternoon will be near 55 Degrees. Winds this afternoon will be East at 5 to 10 mph. Tonight: An area of low pressure is expected to track eastward from the Ohio Valley tonight reaching western New York State by sunrise Wednesday morning. Skies tonight will be cloudy and there will be some scattered showers. Steady rain will overspread the region around dawn Wednesday morning. Low temperatures tonight will be near 45 Degrees. Winds tonight will be southeast at 5 to 10 mph. Wednesday: A wet day is expected on Wednesday with on and off rain expected throughout the day. In addition, there is the chance of a couple of thunderstorms during the early and mid afternoon hours as some unstable air rotates through the area. The steady rain and isolated thunderstorms will come to an end by early Wednesday evening. High temperatures on Wednesday will be between 55 and 60 Degrees. Winds on Wednesday will be southeast at 5 to 10 mph. Thursday: An area of high pressure is expected to build into the area for Thursday with partly sunny skies expected. High temperatures Thursday will be between 68 and 72 Degrees. Winds on Thursday will be northwest at 7 to 15 mph. Friday: That high pressure system looks to remain in control of the weather during Friday as an area of low pressure tracks across the lower Ohio Valley. It appears that the high pressure system may be strong enough to keep any rain from the low pressure system to our south. Skies on Friday look to be cloudy, but it should be dry. High temperatures on Friday will be near 65 Degrees. This Weekend: It appears that we may squeak out a nice weekend as an area of low pressure sits off of the Mid-Atlantic coast and a high pressure system is anchored over southeastern Canada. Saturday looks to feature a mixture of sunshine and clouds. An easterly wind will likely keep high temperatures near 60 Degrees. Partly sunny skies are expected on Sunday with high temperatures near 60 Degrees. Weather Outlook For Next Week: Summer may make an appearance next week, especially during the second half of next week. Much of, if not all of next week potentially looks dry as high pressure will be in control. High temperatures Monday will be near 65 Degrees. High temperatures next Tuesday will be near 70 Degrees. High temperatures next Wednesday will be near 75 Degrees. High temperatures next Thursday and next Friday could be near 80 Degrees.
