For Tonight: A few scattered showers are expected this evening, especially across Western Mass. These showers will lift to the north by midnight and we will be left with cloudy skies and some areas of drizzle during the after midnight hours of tonight.
Low temperatures will be near 45 Degrees. Winds will be Northeast at 5 to 10 mph.
Thursday: Another round of showers are expected across the entire area from about mid-morning until about mid-afternoon. High temperatures will be between 55 and 60 Degrees. Winds will be East at 5 to 10 mph.
Thursday Night: A robust cold front will be slowly approaching the area from the eastern Great Lakes region.
Some scattered showers are expected during Thursday evening with much more widespread showers and possibly a rumble or two of thunder expected during the after midnight hours of Thursday night. It should be noted that an area of heavy rain and isolated thunderstorms are anticipated to move into Western Mass by about 5-6 am Thursday morning.
It is also expected to become windy during the after midnight hours of Thursday night.
Low temperatures will be between 50 and 55 Degrees. Winds will be South to Southeast at 10 to 20 mph before midnight and South at 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 40 mph after midnight.
Friday: A very wet and windy Friday morning can be expected across the entire area as a strong cold front makes its way through the region.
An area of heavy rain and isolated thunderstorms are anticipated to make their way through Western Mass between 5-6 am and 8-9 am Friday morning. This area of heavy rain and isolated thunderstorms are then expected to affect Central Mass between about 6-7 am and about 10 am Friday morning.
Once this heavy rain moves away by late Friday morning we will be left with isolated showers throughout Friday afternoon.
High temperatures will be between 60 and 65 Degrees. Winds will be South at 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 40-45 mph in the morning and Southwest at 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35-40 mph in the afternoon.
This Weekend: Unsettled weather is expected to persist through this weekend.
Saturday looks cloudy skies with some isolated showers around. It’ll also be windy on Saturday with a west to northwest wind of 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph. High temperatures will be between 50 and 55 Degrees.
Sunday looks cloudy with some isolated showers during the afternoon. High temperatures will be near 55 Degrees.
